threeforthememoriesThis year I traveled more than usual. In the summer I visited San Francisco, where I grew up. I photographed this raven perched at a spot called Devil's Slide, south of the city.
I also traveled to Georgia and South Carolina, where I'd never been before. I took this picture on Tybee Island, near the border between the two states.
Closer to home, I took a weekend trip to Boston. Much as I enjoy traveling with/to others, it was actually wonderful to go somewhere completely by myself, just because I wanted to. One of the things I worked on in 2023 was building a life that has room for me in it. It's still a work in progress, but I think I'm getting there. I took this picture of my own shadow at Boston Harbor.
