We finally got back to our usual travel patterns after all the nonsense of the past few years and ended up back in Siena in Tuscany, Italy which is our favourite spot due to having honeymooned there.
Vicolo Dei Orifici (Goldsmith's Alley) made deliberately wiggly and narrow and one ended so it could be defended against rioters and looters:

A corner of the botanical garden which sits tucked in behind the medieval walls and overlooks the Maremma (Siena's countryside).

And the duomo (cathedral)

It was so good to be back.
