I'll go first, why not.

Ocean Beach, San Francisco, January 13, last but one trip out of town before lockdown and one of the last shots before my old camera died.

Oleander and potted tomatoes in our backyard, July 1.

A child's ball, fallen leaves, and a little bit of trash in the gutter, November 20.

Lovely to see the sea and sky! Sorry about your old camera. How long had you had it?

Our old one is still workable but losing some functionality. We spent a good month getting a new one just in case the old one dies unexpectedly. We found it hard to find something we were as satisfied with.

Did you find you did more gardening this year?

It makes sense, and I know a lot of other people have also turned to growing things this year. Besides being a bit of nature, it can provide a sense of accomplishment when so much else seems out of our control.

Glad you were able to find a workable replacement. I realized when I was looking for one, how much I rely on our old camera to do certain things. It's funny how the older simpler model seemed to offer so much more than the newer ones!

I think others have also been doing regular camera walks this year, and it's been going on long enough that one can see the same spots through the seasons.

Pretty! And a very nice depiction of the world seemingly shrinking.

Someone else already noted it but I'll say it too: I like how your selection narrows down in scope, just like most of us have found our own focus shrinking through the year.

Nice photos, the first especially is lovely. Sorry your camera died, but hopefully you are enjoying its replacement. I would have a dozen cameras if I could afford them!
