Three means of travel

Public transit has never failed to feel disturbing since March. The warning tape marked every second seat on the inter-city bus to remind that people weren't supposed to sit right next to one another. I think this was the second-to-last trip I took to visit my parents. It was during my vacation, so I was able to plan the trip in the middle of the week, when I thought buses would be empty and it would be comparatively safe. The whole experience was exhausting and not worth it, but there was a thrill to seeing the changes in things that used to be routine, like sitting in a bus.

My Shrinking World

I was surprised to find out that there is a history of shadow portraits going back to Pliny the Elder. My shadow self searches for something I lost in 2020. If you have ever looked in the shadows, then you know to be careful or you might find something that is not ready to be found. ( Read more... )
