This is from a visit to my parents in Pennsylvania in May. I had a difficult trip with delayed and cancelled flights and a mad dash from one end of the Charlotte airport to the other to try and catch a plane. I was stressed and starving by the time I landed. Seeing this mural was just a tiny bit cheering in a moment when I really needed it.
I saw this at an art museum and had to snap a picture. I felt this guy's exhaustion in my soul.
This was at a park not too far from my house. Nearby, there were some people setting up for a wedding, and not long after I snapped this pic, a guy and his daughter came to play in the water feature. With everything going on in the world, it's nice to be reminded that there is still joy in the world.
